Official checks before you commit

Raleigh: Raleigh looks compact on a map, but A good stops live in distinct clusters. Do not stack Umstead, NCMA, North Hills, and downtown in one overconfident day. Keep the science museum, NCMA, CAM Raleigh, and Marbles ready for rain or summer heat. Outdoor stops are more fitting as flexible layers around them.

Charlotte: Do not treat Uptown, South End, NoDa, and the Whitewater Center as one walkable district. Choose one or two zones per day. Carowinds is a complete day, not a quick add-on to a city itinerary.
